Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Cavitation Body Contouring.

Most clients require 6–12 sessions spaced one week apart for noticeable reduction. Results build gradually as fat is eliminated by the lymphatic system; maintenance sessions every few months or combined treatments improve long-term contouring.

Cavitation uses targeted low-frequency ultrasound and is considered safe for many people when performed by trained professionals. Contraindications include pregnancy, pacemakers, active infections, liver or kidney disease; consult your therapist for a personalized assessment.

Most clients report little to no discomfort — sensations are usually mild warmth, tingling, or a gentle buzzing. Rare bruising or tenderness can occur. There’s no anesthesia required and normal activities can typically resume immediately after treatment.

You may notice subtle changes after 2–3 sessions, but more visible contouring appears after completing a full recommended course. Liquefied fat is processed over several weeks; photos and measurements at follow-ups track progressive improvements.

Typical side effects are mild and temporary: redness, swelling, minor bruising, or tenderness at treated areas. Some clients experience increased urination as fat is eliminated. Serious complications are rare when treatments are performed by certified practitioners.

Hydrate well before and after each session, avoid alcohol and excessive sodium, and refrain from anti-inflammatory medications if advised. Light exercise, massage, and lymphatic drainage support removal of liquefied fat. Follow your therapist’s pre- and post-care instructions for best results.
